The bus stops are too far away / routes are inadequate

The nearest bus stop to my house is one mile away, which means that if I was to make a journey by bus I would have at least a 2 miles to walk to/from the bus stop, plus the distance to walk at the destination. My health isn't perfect and this is too far for me to mange, therefore I can't use buses at all, unless the routes are improved. (The area is Nottage, Porthcawl)

I have considered cycling to the bus stop, but I have been told that there is no guarantee that there will be space for my bicycle on the bus on both the outward and return journeys, therefore this option isn't possible.

Bus Service Information

In bus stations and at bus stops in my area, there is no information about bus times or which stop bus services use. There is also no real time information about whether buses are running on time. Decision time in Aberystwyth

I was cycle camping from Barmouth to Fishguard during the bad weather week in Sept. My start and end points were dictated by availability of train stations because I couldn't take my bike on a bus. The weather got so bad that I had to decide in Aberystwyth whether to continue or not, because that was the last place with a train station until Fishguard.
