Decision time in Aberystwyth

I was cycle camping from Barmouth to Fishguard during the bad weather week in Sept. My start and end points were dictated by availability of train stations because I couldn't take my bike on a bus. The weather got so bad that I had to decide in Aberystwyth whether to continue or not, because that was the last place with a train station until Fishguard. I decided to visit a friend in Saundersfoot instead of continuing. Tfw app gave me one option to get there, about 3 hour trip for £10. Great, except that I knew this had to be a bus. I called tfw and no I want allowed to take my bike on a traws cymru bus. So I had to pay around £50 and make a 6-7 hour journey via Shrewsbury to get there.
