Bus Service Information

In bus stations and at bus stops in my area, there is no information about bus times or which stop bus services use. There is also no real time information about whether buses are running on time. Most service buses now should have audio/visual next stop announcements on the bus but I have not seen any buses with this working and the regulations do not appear to be enforced

Bus times change but passengers are not told. In my local bus station, services are moved from one stop to another but passengers are not informed leading to confusion. Occasionally new services are introduced but this is not promoted and there is no marketing.

Before doing anything else these basics need to be addressed to give existing and new users confidence in the bus network.

There are no busses at times when I need them

The bus service into Cardiff is expensive. It would be cheaper for me to park in work than it would be to catch the bus (£60+ the last time I checked for a monthly pass). The busses do not stop near to my place of work and the bus route around Cardiff Centre does not go near the Cardiff Central station. The Llanedeyrn bus 57,58, does NOT go into the new bus station. The bus stops are too far away / routes are inadequate

The nearest bus stop to my house is one mile away, which means that if I was to make a journey by bus I would have at least a 2 miles to walk to/from the bus stop, plus the distance to walk at the destination. My health isn't perfect and this is too far for me to mange, therefore I can't use buses at all, unless the routes are improved.
