Transport for Wales is hosting a series of Bike Events, as part of our ongoing commitment to encourage Active Travel through behaviour change.

The events will be hosted from April to June and will be located at venues right across Wales and Borders. The events, now in their forth year, are delivered in partnership with British Transport Police (BTP). To date over 560 bikes have been security registered and over 400 responses to the TfW active travel survey have been received.

The aim of the events - to inspire people to travel more sustainably and challenge themselves to get on a bike, whether that's to cycle to work, study or simply to enjoy a local leisure journey! We’ll be partnering with British Transport Police to provide FREE bike security marking at each event so visitors are encouraged to bring their bikes along.

As well as promoting the benefits of cycling, amenities including cycle parking and active travel routes available at each location, visitors will be able to take part in our active travel survey.

* Join the UK’s national, police preferred, bicycle marking & registration scheme. Find out more here: www.bikeregister.com

So join us at one of our 2026 TfW Bike Events and get inspired!
