Transport for Wales is looking to understand how people travel at specific transport hubs in South West Wales.
Understanding travel patterns at key railway and bus stations will help us to understand what we can do to improve journeys which involve buses and trains.
In summer 2025 we asked the public to give feedback on our proposals for the bus network. A key theme during the public engagement was improving connections between bus and train services. The data collected with this rapid travel survey will be used to inform the next stage of planning.
Our team is collecting information about travel patterns at the following railway stations:
Carmarthen railway station
Neath railway station
Port Talbot Parkway railway station
Haverfordwest railway station
Llanelli Bus Station
Ystradgynlais Bus Station
