Overhead wires will be taken down.
The overhead wires on the steel masts will be taken down in preparation for the bridge to be installed. This will take place at night time.
25 August 2023
Bridge will be delivered to site and installed
The bridge will be delivered to site via rail and will be installed during an 8-hour City Line closure. Work will continue until the 28th August 2023.
04 September 2023
Bridge will be reopened to the public.
Works will be completed and the compound on Beale Close will be demobilised. The bridge will be reopened to the public.
